If you feel that it is more than just an average period, you may have to go back and have a second D&C..  they may have not got it all the first time..  ( I am NOT a Dr., but have had a few miscarriages)  I suggest you call your Dr. see what he wants you to do, if you can NOT get a hold of him, go to the ER..  (Did they do a D&C???)

You will be in my thoughts and prayers, and I am so sorry for your loss..

Hugs,
Jenn

Hi Nancy,

They say if you go through a pad within a 1/2 hour you should either call your doctor or go to the ER.  I am sorry to hear about your miscarriage....please take care of yourself and keep me posted.

BTW: If I were you I would also lie down and put your feet up.

1st off, please call your OB/GYN.  Someone has to be on call, or at least an advice nurse.  Did you have a D&C to make sure everything is cleared out or miscarry naturally at home?  These things are difficult, I hope you feel better...Big hugs...

Nancy,

I am so sorry for your loss. I have gone through that myself, and I agree with the other posts, you need to call your OB/GYN.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about your miscarriage.  I totally understand, the one time I was pregnant I also had one, and they are mentally difficult to get over.  You really need to get to the ER if you are still bleeding, and you MAY, need a D & C to make sure everything is cleaned out.

Please keep us advised and take care of yourself.

Hugs, Diane

You need to go to the ER.  Not post here. Go to the ER.  They will tell you if you have passed all the products of conception which would be a complete or if you did not it would be an incomplete and you may need a d&C Do not wait as it needs to be looked at. Sorry for that I know how hard it is.  Diane could not have said it any better.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have to agree with what everyone else is saying...I am sure the last place you want to be right now is the hospital, but you need to go to be sure you don't need a D&C or transfusion because of blood loss. Good luck!
